Over the Green Hills

I sometimes joke about my dark past of bad Sonic fan art, but I was really excited for this one- it's been so long since I've drawn either of these two, and Tails was always my favorite! Truthfully I think games and drawing got me through a rough part of my life years ago, so I wanted to work with a style that was somewhat childish and carefree- so chalk and paint Photoshop brushes made their return. I originally intended to do more with the background until I realized a detailed background didn't quite fit what I was going for (and in the sense of speed would be blurred out anyway...) so I went with a much simpler speed paint. Admittedly it still looks better than anything I drew at age 13.
